My Journey with One Cycle Vietnam

Having had the pleasure of riding with Sarah from OneCycle, Vietnam, having met her early in the year during a short trip to Ho Chi Minh. The sheer energy and positive first impression conveyed to me that OneCycle most definitely has the potential to become a dominant force in Asia. This experience not only inspired me to push myself further but also instilled a desire to contribute to their growth in the spin space.

Located in a pocket just outside of Ho Chu Minh called Thao Dien, One Cycle houses a ride room accommodating up to 26 bikes in their ride room with lights that span across the ceiling to each mirror panel of the walls across the entire room. Similar to our Ride Room at Journey, the bikes are laid out with two rows with a couple of side bikes adjacent to the instructor, creating the most amazing energy during their 45-minute classes.

Last month, another opportunity came up for me to visit to Vietnam and I had the pleasure of taking the stage and teaching a class for the One Cycle community. I performed the class with the same level of care and attention as I do with all my classes, as the spin community in Vietnam is still new and emerging. The community’s eagerness to grow stronger and the show of gratitude towards my class inspired me immensely and reminded me of the reasons why I became a coach and why I will continue to be a coach not just for you at Journey, but for all who share the same passion and love for spin as I do.

It was an unbelievable Journey, meeting so many new amazing people in another country and hearing their stories and experiences of running a studio in Vietnam. I am excited to see what the future holds, and I’m looking forward to sharing more stories of my Journey in becoming the best coach I can be and continuing to be a leader in this space.
